Jidai-Matsuri, Kyoto 2007

The main reason, why I came to Japan in 2007 (and also in 2006) was to go to a Zen-monastery in Obama (Fukui-ken).

This year (2007) I first was some days in Kyoto, then I went to Obama to go to the monastery for three weeks. After that time I went back to Kyoto and did sightseeing.
On one of the last days before I had to fly back to germany, the Jidai-matsuri was held.
For me that was new, and I did a lot of photos. Here you can see some of them.
I had also made some photos in the morning, before the official spectacle had started. I may later put them on this page too.
